The Maryland Association of Elementary School Principals is an affiliate of NAESP, school leaders must be members of MAESP in order to be members of NAESP.

We encourage you to use our online forms, however, if you prefer you can print off and fill out a hard copy of our membership form and send it to:

Active Member

$475.00- Practicing elementary and middle school principals, plus central office based administrators. Maryland is an affiliate state, your membership includes NAESP membership and benefits including the legal benefits program.

Assistant Principal

$425.00- Current assistant principal serving a school. Maryland is an affiliate state, your membership includes NAESP membership and benefits including the legal benefits program.

Aspiring Principal

$175.00- Working to become a school administrator. Maryland is an affiliate state, your membership includes NAESP membership.

Associate Member

$250.00- Professors of education or non-school based administrator with an interest in Maryland schools and leadership. Maryland is an affiliate state, your membership includes NAESP membership & benefits except legal benefits.

Institutional Active Member

$525.00- Institutional/Active membership is available to an administrator in a school/central office. Maryland is an affiliate state, your membership includes NAESP membership and and benefits and a duplicate set of publications from NAESP.

Emeritus Member

$175.00- Emeritus membership shall be offered to any individual who retires while holding an active membership in MAESP/NAESP. Maryland is an affiliate state, your membership includes NAESP membership and benefits including the legal benefits program.
