In this session, Dr. Daniel McKinney will lead attendees in exploring the capabilities of A.I. platforms, discuss best practices when using A.I., discuss the need for A.I. literacy, and provide practical examples of how A.I. can be applied to professional practice as school and system leaders. From creating ready-to-use products to 'vibe coding', this session will push your A.I. awareness and skills even further!

McKinney is an author and educator who comes from an extensive educational background, having worked for 23 years as a high school science teacher and mentor in classrooms across the country. He earned his Master of Education in 2001 and his Doctor of Education 2014. He has a passion for innovative teaching methods in his current focus on adult education. Danny currently works as a professional development specialist in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. His courses are primarily focused on leadership skills, innovative instructional practices, and the integration of generative A.I. in education.
